Kanako Tamaki  - The Luxury Specialist

A native of Japan, Kanako Tamaki bridges the gap for many international clients from Asia to the Far East. Her knowledge of the local Wailea real estate market paired with her bilingual abilities make her the perfect advisor for international visitors.

A South Maui realtor for the past 15 years, Kanako has effectively handled purchases and listings for more than 100 luxury properties. Because of her cultural understanding and fine taste Kanako has been extremely valuable in negotiating complicated international real estate transactions.

Kanako was previously an agent for ERA Maui Real Estate, where she developed a loyal customer base because of her positive and refined attitude. She has also worked in the hotel and hospitality industry and is currently a licensed realtor and broker, focusing exclusively on luxury Makena Wailea properties.

John Ferguson - The Golf Guru

A 21-year resident & golfer, John has an intimate understanding of the area (and of course golf courses). His in-depth expertise in Makena Wailea in particular has been integral to building Aqua's blackbook of Island experiences.

Prior to co-founding Makena Wailea Real Estate John owned and operated a number of restaurants, forming ties with local government and regulatory agencies, business owners, and the community at large.

John is deeply involved in the south Maui community by participating in a number of charitable organizations and philanthropies. He has served on the board of Kihei Destination, a community development initiative; on the board South Maui Montessori School; and as a coach and entertainment director for the local park district.
